Did this bug cause a crash to desktop? Y

Description of bug: When attempting to load the mod the game will crash to desktop and display an error message.

Have you got any other mods active with this?

Is it a steam install?

Are you able to find the file at this location W40k\resource\interface\cursor\cannon_on.bmp?

Got the same error, just deleted the file file and it worked for me.

Yeah that makes sense, this file is a duplicate of one included in the original men of war game, which may clash with the assault squad 2 version or any modded versions of the same file. If you delete it and continue to get the same error, please let me know.

All other mods have been deactivated and yes it is a steam install.

And I can find the bitmap file at that location

Okay, can you either delete that file (make a backup first) or rename the file to something completely different for me?

It now read file not found rather than create texture failed

I did revalidated the install but I'm still recieving the same error, I will reinstall the whole game, shouldn't take too long

Alright, in that folder there will also be a cannon_on.ebm, which you can open with notepad. can you post me the inside of that file? it should look like this

well, try to change .bmp to tga (worked fo me)

does anyone else not have a cursor?

Did you delete the entire cursor folder? Or just the cannon_on.bmp/ebm?

deleted only cannon_on.bmp/ebm

Do you never have a cursor in game? Or is it just in direct control?

dont have a cursor in a F1 mode, when cursor targeted on a ground.

Strange, when I delete my own cannon_on.bmp/ebm I still get all of the cursors.

Can you place these two replacement files in the cursor folder to see if they work?

Okay. I will try and find a permanent fix fir this issue.
