A common practise by the 'Black devils' was to aquire enemy weaponary where possible, this was often the pre-text for picking up Lugers, which where highly favoured & or grenades & knives.

Yeah because they had no weapons. It was like in their army in the start of the war where five soldiers had to share a weapon. So when the first one got shot it was the next ones turn to take the weapon (And so on).
