nah lad they just dont compare to the East Surreys! and the red and white hackle gives them the used tampon name. Bit like how Coldstream Guards are reffered to as The Sheep Shaggers due to in the napoleonic war a detatchment of CSG took refuge in a convent and nuns are known as "Gods Flock" :P

I didn't know British machine gunners wore these uniforms (I thought they would be more packed)
