Hi Sturm I have been following this Mod for about 2 years and I have some unanswered questions and potential ideas for this mod! Great work by the way to you and Double Cross Studios! Can't wait for the mod

Textmod part

Is there going to be seasons camos? ( Such as Waffen SS Fall camo? : Toppots.net ) or weapon Camos such as what the Soviets did paint their gun white to blend in to the snow.

Last part is will there be unique Tank/ halftrack( German ) camo? Or unique unit camo

Other Questions!

How many maps will there be? I found that most of GSM and MOWAS1 & 2 maps got boring rather quickly and do you plan to make more maps and release them later in an update or patch?

Will there be a Fox hole or small trench digging system? Such as in Band Of Brothers the 101st Airborne dig Fox Holes in Belgium near Bastonge for shelter. Also will there be a Barb wire placer/ sandbag placer system? It would be cool to put Barb wire down on roads so the enemy could'nt advance or of they did they would get caught and free to be shot by their enemies

Will there be a decent "Gibbing" system in the game? Like if a Soldier gets hit by a mortar shell right beside him will he explode into pieces? or have his arm just get blown off?

Also is there a chance of having a ragdoll death system instead of a old animation? It would be really awesome if there was a ragdoll death mechanic!

Will there be any experimental weapons such as the German Messerschmitt Me 262 or the German Jet fighter?

Regarding Camos:

Full seasonal camos will be present, with camo apparrel for German units, garbs and ghilles for allied forces and Soviets.

Tank camo netting will be custom for most vehicles, and also camo paint schemes and other accessories.

There will be 12 maps in total, check the moddb image section for small previews of the maps.
New maps will be added, but on a strict quality control scheme.

Foxhole / trench digging are fully incorporated, foxholes, trenches, tank ditches, artillery ditches, forward observation posts, HQ command posts e.t.c all included.


Gibbing system is also included using the blood / gore mod method.

Ragdoll unfortunately is totally dependent on the engine to which it is unable to perofrm such a thing.


Me262 would be included if I had a working model, as will other late war vehicles and weapons up to May 45'.

Naval and Air only map would be interesting, the former being more viable. In the European theatre I could only think of the battle of scapa flow being the best example.

MP will have unit sizes up to Battalion level so 500 men.
