Solution for extracting TK V1.0 Files (Sticky) Thread - Totaler Krieg: 1939-45 mod for Battle of Empires : 1914-1918

Snorken's Solution:

1. Download and put the 001-004 parts in one place.
2. Make a folder named ''Totaler Krieg'' (For easier handling of files)
3. Select and right click, choose 7-Zip, click ''Pack up files/Extract files...'' (In a rough translation)
4. Then, manually select the location for the files to be extracted to, choose ''Totaler Krieg''
5. Put the Totaler Krieg folder in Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 Resource folder, enable in-game. (Do not copy the created Totaler Krieg folder, only the extracted/newly created one inside of it!)

Enjoy.

I take no credits for this solution, I only made it here simply to easy up on newcomers.

Lucianus Solution:

Easy weasy.

1. Download the 7zip files use 7zip to unzip all(select all)
2. Put them to the package folder of BOE
3. make sure you have the Victory package(free dlc).
4. Start BOE with Victory package(Victory).
5. Select all the packages needed(WW1,WW2,Battle of Berlin, TK).
6. Have fun!

Neither of these solutions work for me.

Yeah none of these work either, only 001 works and unpacks. The rest are 'unkown or damaged'.

To unpack the files you need 7-zip. Right Click 000. file, select 7-zip > Open Archive.

Extract to desktop.

Then place folder in packages folder.

Begin.

So far I do not know how to get this mod to work with the MP only edition. You also need the Berlin DLC.

I couldn't open the files either, only 001 and when I extracted it was all damaged

Well as the majority of people didn't have issues, I suggest trying another browser and re-downloading.

Note: You cannot play the mod on the MP only edition.

hallo i orso have problems whit corrupt files.. i have tryed all the things above but if you guys whot be so nice as to make a download video or releash it to moddb directly it whot maby help.

I also have the same problem, only the first file works the rest cant be opened.

How did you get it working?

Ive tried downloading the files with both Firefox and Chrome, still the problem remains the same. Reinstalled 7zip and re-downloaded the files still nothing...

Now i cant activate ww1 package with the ww2 and battle for berlin package, how do i activate all four of them at once?

Yup, 7zip doesn't work for me either, none of these solutions helped.

The Package is not shown on my package folder :/ and also if i create an new and change some files i cant enable the victory day pack and the battle of berlin package at the same time -.- .... i think i need help

It worked for me. And Kreig its just one download and you use Winrar to extract and you place it in the approprite file note some people seem to have issues with this for some reason.

I still cant get it to load...

Panzercommander I do have the full game, and Im asking whether your download has parts 001-004 in it, and yes I can extract and run the thing you linked. However it is no bigger than the original 001 file (002-004 could not be opened), which is why I ask.

when i select german, russian and british soldiers the game crashes

Tetris something is very wrong there I'am afraid. Make sure you have BoE Full Version, and in the packages section only activate Totaler Krieg, let the game select the other packages.
