Hello everyone

I want to suggest the battlefield of Stonne (La Bataille De Stonne)

That was an forgotten "halt" of the german blitzkrieg

The german divisions was stopped there by many french soldiers during 10 days (May 15 - May 25 1940)

That battle was including :

- French - Cmdt. Pierre Billotte - 3rd Division d'Infanterie Motorisée (3e DIM) - 3rd Division Cuirassée (3e DCR) - & - 4th Bataillon de chars de combat / 42 500 Soldiers & 130 Tanks after the battle 7 500 Deads & Injured - 33 Tanks destroyed

- German - Cmdt. Heinz Guderian - 1st Panzerdivision - & - Rgt. Grossdeutschland / 90 000 Soldiers & 300 Tanks after the battle 26 500 Deads & Injured - 24 Tanks destroyed
