Lucianus, all your nations suggestions has been covered by Sturm, apart from the PTO pacific-theatre-of operations which will be released on later updates or not covered, up to the creators choice. It is a better foundation to build up the mod in sections, I.e. First the eastern front, onto the western front, and then on to Africa and other expansions, in order to work in an organised manner with clear aims, especially if the mod is being asembled by one individual.

Is there any chance for the mod to include the Brazilian Expeditionary Force? They fought as part of the US 5th Army, the equipment was the same as the ones used by the Americans, with the exception that they used mostly Springfield rifles.

I wouldn't rule it out, but at the same time, the BEF was restricted to certain theatres, predominately the Italian Mainland / Sicilian fronts which at the moment have not been covered in Totaler Krieg.

Hey Sturm,

do you think it might be possible to add a "Conquer Europe/World" option for later releases?

In which you have CP and Income on a world map with "moving armies"
e.g. 1st Tank Division (4 Tiger I, 10 Pz IV ausf. F2, 20 Pz III ausf. L, 20 mobile infantry squads) to attack other "countries" or "provinces".
Not just having campaign. And if possible "research" tech(getting better units after turns and cost).

That might be only single player but would increase the replay value, especially if you design an AI, I think it is harder to add this option also for multiplayer, not impossible but harder.

How about some fortifications for gun emplacements? What I mean is this, you know how with many guns you may have them "dig in" with some sandbags? Well its possible to edit what happens, and Ive seen it done in the past for mods. So I suggest 3 levels of fortifications for weapons. You just cant do them on top of each other.

  • Light- the same as V Assault Squad, just some sandbags, nothing too much, you can easily pack up and leave and it offers only a little protection. You can do this option and later the next, after moving the gun.
  • Heavy- Uses the heavier snadbags in the game, places netting in certain areas for concealment, adds stamps on the ground to show dirt underneath, also adds a few boxes with a little extra ammo in them. Leaving will destroy the sandbags, sandbags, and netting, itd be there but itd be run over. Cant do this one and then the final option later, its one or the other.
  • Fixed- Once you use this, the emplacement will NOT move, you can get it out of there so be careful where you want it, but it offers the best protection, a bit of concrete, some sandbags, netting and bushes for concelment, possibly put into a small trench system if possible. Boxes of ammo around with other supplies

Expanding on this we can use the Engineers and possibly use the same system to create infantry emplacements such as small bunkers (the destroyable one in the editor), and other such things.

While this could be hard, it could also be fairly simple once started. I think it could add a lot to gameplay, and it could also add to the "feel" of the game as well. If youre interesting I could search for the old mod that had this sort of implimented (for machine guns anyways)
