I made a virus scan, because one of you guys had a problem with the installer.
If you have a virus alert, you can ignore it.
I used a 100% legit copy of Visual Novel Maker and the game doesn't contains any virus in it's files!
But anyway i'm sorry for the inconvenience!

I uploaded a fresh zipped and portable version of Melancholy without the installer exe. Now everyone can play instantly without troubles with their antiviruses/etc and freaking out

I'm already liking the concept, but I'm stuck. I find the hook and hair and trying to pick something on drainhole and use it on the door to get the key other side, but nothing is happening and I always play amnesia mods with controller, this one doesn't support that. And when I press esc, it quits mod immediately, pretty stupid. Overall, I'm liking this so far. How I can proceed further here?
At the drainhole you have to wait till a key icon shows up at the left corner of the screen then you can open the door.
Oh, I see, I was so fast paced to move on, I didn't wait. Well, I got loop ending and bad ending (failure). How many endings are there? Really neat idea and amazing concept. I liked it a lot.

There are 3 endings: Good, Neutral and Bed.
You get the good ending if you escape in the end.
How can I install this game?
Hi!
You simply download the version is good for you, if you on Windows download the Windows version.
Then open the installer, choose a folder where you want the game to be installed, and after it finished open the folder and search for Melancholy.exe.
