A new animation set meant to bring new functionality to broken animations, and improve units previously neglected.
When I started modding Medieval 2, my goal was to find a way to make the animations work, in a way that can actually serve a purpose. That's what this animation set is.
The previously removed "push" animation is put back in, but now it will trigger an animation that makes a soldier stagger backward, putting space between the two. It won't do this every time, because of the nature of the engine, but is still good.
Pikes have been changed - they'll attack much earlier than before.
2h-Sword animations have been mixed into the 2h-axe pool. Note: these animations are much faster than the previous 2H-axe ones, so with vanilla balance, they may be extremely powerful.
Soldiers no longer spread out in close combat. This includes cavalry.
If you do decide to use this animation set, any feedback would be appreciated, and I hope you have fun with it. It's something I've been working on for a while.
Installation: Place Skeleton and pack files in your animation folder in your medieval 2 data folder.
