Current Release 3.57 - Mod is 200 Mb download and uncompressed to 550mb. Use Freelancer Mod manager 1.3 to install.

Hi,

just noticed a quirk with mission 03 where you have to escort the convoy to the Willard Research Station. If you install a faster cruise engine (I think mine did 500m/s) the convoy travels at the same speed as you and misses all the nav buoys. It's hilarious to leave the convoy and watch it going in circles around the first buoy, but it breaks the mission. :-/

The first buoy eventually gets triggered, but the convoy doesn't continue to the next one as it has entered the trigger radius, but hasn't actually flown through the waypoint, I guess.

Any solution to this? Increasing the trigger radius for the nav point maybe?

As a workaround you can just install a slower engine...
