It does not look like the interdictor, and the interdictor is not a fighter. It's more like a patrol/raider ship.
Besides, i'm not sure why (sarcasm) but i get the feeling that this might be a TAD larger.

While they both share the same art style, the Dreadnought and the Interdictor have some small differences, and while be of different sizes, making it easy to determine the who's who.
Why are you guys downvoting everyone who makes a point it looks similar to the Interdictor? It does, plain and simple. In the same way that a Venator looks similar to a Star Destroyer. It's a GOOD thing, it means that they're consistent in their art design. I'll be able to look at a ship and say "Yep that's a Batarian ship".
Maybe the venator looks similar to a star destroyer... because it is a star destroyer -.-

I always figured Batarian Dreadnoughts to be a slight bit longer....well this looks like a well armored dreadnought too.....MOAR!!!

I like the way they both look more concealed then other ship's, kinda makes it seem like the Batarian's really are cut off from very one. At least that's what I think.
I don't really get why the Batarians are depicted the way they are. They are shown to be evil, with no redeeming qualities of any sort, like old cartoon villians.
On the other hand most Batarians we meet in the game are decent people only doing their jobs. If you ask me, Batarians are kinda likes the Humans but they suffers from a bad government, something that will probably changed after the Reeper war.
So if you use renegade council can you still form a treaty with local mitlitia forces and use broadcast centers to hire mercenary and pirate forces?
Kinda looks like a "Rage" Class Dreadnought :D
