A total conversion set in the mid-XV century Italy, with a strong focus on historical accuracy and quality. The mod will feature a large main campaign and regional mini campaigns to learn new implemented features and to focus on specific sets of events.
A small showcase for the work in progress on Swiss Militia units, featuring also bollock daggers and Schweizerdegen.
Great work, from the dolk to the clothing you surprisingly manage to keep a lot of detail for such a low poly model! I do have on question; Will units just like many other total wars follow a certain colour scheme or will they wear clothing of varying colours? Looking at the models you posted it looks very much like you will have some variation going which is awesome!
In Medival 2 there are already units wearing diferent colors and faces, but i think it depends of the unit, since there where uniformed units like the swiss guard and not uniformed such as mercenary pikemen
hi @Joeriig,
units affiliated to certain factions will often have similar colour codes - this however will reflect as much as possible historical hints. For this swiss units, we have just followed several chroniclers of the time, in which is very clear which unit pertains to which canton based on factional colouring and items/standards they carry.
