The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

It would be handy if there was a low grade light repair tool that only repairs small amounts of damage say 10%? Or even a cheap cleaning kit 5%?
Similar comparison to how bandages are to medic kits, is what comes to my mind. Could perhaps even add different grades of cleaning tools. Like 15% and 20%.

It would be good to be keep your weapons in decent shape while not having to revisit the traders.
And would make for another useful thing to scavenge for and pickup on occasion.
Taken from the April fools post:

"Manually cleaning your weapon is required in order to maintain it's condition, and to prevent weapon jams. Weapons should be inspected regularly following battles."

I know theres the big one out there that anyone can add that's 24kg but I'm thinking of a portable relatively inexpensive version.
The guys who made the big repair kit should of made it more similar to a sleeping bag in that an hour or so goes by as you use it. After all, it was a pretty big kit designed to repair an item almost near full in some cases. I don't recall it repairing a broken gun fully. Though I imagine that would take quite a bit of time in itself but I don't see adding massive field repairs as needed in game. But whatever. wouldn't bother me.
