Hi everyone, it might be a good time to personally give you an update on our status.
Current Status
For the last three months, the majority of the team has been very busy with some life changing situations, including myself. The problem is that every team member is so important to the mods development, when one or two people slow down, the mod is heavily affected. Were having a pretty rough time here, but we will survive.
With great pleasure, I would like to introduce a recent join to the team by the name of Fabio, a paleo artist in Milan. He has offered to help in the project with concept art and reference drawings for our artists.
Some of you might of seen our trex head on the 1st page, well you can now see a fully textured ingame version of the model. Also shown is a new Sauropelta model , created by Tim, who brought you Brachiosaurus and Albertosarus.
Our friend Russell over at critters has been busy with some underwater creatures. Humpback Whale and Tylosaurus.
Hiroto has been fully textured and shown is the low poly ingame version. As well as this you can see our new Saskia created by the skillfull Joe Harford.
First post! :]
Really nice work guys. How have the AI programming for the dinosaurs develop?
Any new ingame video to show us?
Best regards.

The AI must work a bit like the Monsters in Monster hunters, but set a bit so they are still smart enough to judge your actions (they are still animals).
Velociraptors may retreat if it's alone, but with a group of them they are confident enough to attack.
jesus christ!
this is awesome!
Wale vs large-*** crocodile ;)
I didn't know the game has underwater portions. I don't want to play it, it looks too real and I'll get a heart attack :)
Mosasaurus, not crocodile. its more related to the Komodo dragon than crocs ;)
Really? Komodo Varans are land living with some swimming abilities. How comes they are related to a pure marine animal?
In the same way dolphins evolved from land mammals ;), mosasaurs evolved from primitive varans.
Ask nature how it did this ;)
Dolphins though are still a different branch than other animals having evolved from the same ancestor. Related would mean "on the same branch as" unless there's a different meaning of that word.
wiki: "These predators evolved from semi-aquatic squamates[2] known as the aigialosaurs, close relatives of modern-day monitor lizards, in the Early Cretaceous Period."
Both are Lacertilia families, crocs are crocodylia.
Superb work, very professional. Thanks for the brilliant update. The woman is amazing in detail. Almost photo quality...
******* amazing.
Wow! Looking bloody fantastic!
Loving both the concept drawings and models!
Keep up the great work.
