actually the only one that was downed was from an emp used by my ally.
Don't you hate when allies use EMP and it kills your air units. I hade a mother ship over the final base of the enemy and it was almost ready to fire, the so called "ally" used an EMP and down went the ship.
it can be very annoying as scrin, still a bit funny tho!
