I'm guessing you turned down the particle effects?

The particles aren't right in the video. The recording software uses a ton of resources and whenever the game doesn't have enough resources available it starts making the particles just sort of appear instead of shooting out.

Is there any way to change the rifle sound effects? Everything else is really cool, but the rifles sound kinda weak.

Of course I can the sounds, but since I like the current ones I probably won't.

How are the troops going to be sorted? For example, in Native you could only have one kind of unit be in one group. An example is the Nord Huscarl. You could only put Nordic Huscarls in one group such as infantry or archers. If the troops are going to be sorted like Native, you could only have one line of a certain kind of troop, right? Because I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want just one huge long line of fusiliers for example. I'd like to have something like 4 lines of fusiliers.

finally someone uses a proper reloading animation for muskets!
and please, take your time - weeks, months or even years... but deliver a product with the quality you intend to bring. (we had enough with the awful napoleonic wars expansion full of bugs and completely unpolished - and the worse of all - for around 30$)

@idkwidlol
>I didn't know Napoleonic Era guns had no recoil...

does the expression "work in progress" mean anything to you?

Description

A quick and very poorly edited together preview of some of the newer features that will be in L'Aigle. Everything is very much a Work-in-Progress, especially the animation for the musicians, which is just a place holder.

The poor performance is because of the video recording software. It ran smoothly when I wasn't recording. Plus the mod hasn't been optimised yet.

The music is Variations on La Follia by Antonio Salieri.

This video is in HD, by the way.

Note: Due to problems with the ModDB video player, this video starts and ends too soon sometimes. Watch it on Youtube: Youtube.com
