Left 4 Dead RAF ARCADE MOD 22 November 2013 by Ralf Solo
This is a little mod "base server ready" from files edited by me and plug-ins found on the net (vanilla or edited by me),
this mod works on any maps ( which use vanilla objects and weapons).
Others players can join without to download the mod !!!
RAF ARCADE MOD : ---------------------------------------------------
A - What the mod do :
- 6 survivors.
- Survivors carry more ammo.
- Pills at start.
- More objects on the map (pipe bombs, molos, pills,first aid ...).
- x5 pipe bombs or molotovs at the time.
- If you have Pills or Adrenaline, you can stand up from Incapacity by yourself holding "USE" key.
- Survivors have auto health regeneration (not to max).
- decrease damage to friendly fire for survivors (10% max).
- Lots of zombies.
- Survivors have to shoot the head to stop the zombies. (lower damage else where) (set the difficulty level to expert).
- Zombies see you from far.
- specials infected more rare.
INSTALLATION : ---------------------
1-backup your original “cfg” folder in "steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead"
backup your original “gameinfo.txt” file in “left4dead”
2-Install the folder "left4dead" in the games folder of STEAM.
(For me is "common" folder = D:\steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead).
3- To uninstall, erase files, back your originals files.

To start : - In STEAM go to your "view game library" , right click on "LEFT4DEAD " and choose "properties"
then "set launch options" and write "-insecure" (see instal screenshot)
- For multiplayers, choose play online and local server (!!!)
- invite friends on lobby or start game and wait people to join as they do not need to download
the mod to play.

- Works also in solo, survivors, team battle ...
- Game heavy on old PC and slow connection if more than 2 players (+ 4 AI).
- Joining a game or hosting a game in a non local server, You will play a vanilla game.
- The plugins was find 3 years ago in this site Forums.alliedmods.net ,
you can read the creators names in the plugins files as I have not originally written them but just
edited to my taste.

This is not a mod. It's just a pack of plugins. And this rar file has a ton of useless files in it that are not even needed to make the plugins work.
there are plugins and coded files witch alter the original game ... so for you it is not a mod ? ... as for useless files , it's does not bother the game
Yes there are plugins, but any pack of plugins doesn't count as a mod since they were made by different people and they don't alter the games files or add new content such as a skin or a map. Things like this should not be uploaded as a mod because people can just go to the sourcemod page and install the plugins they want themselves. A game mod includes either WAVs, BSPs, VTFs, NAVs, MDLs, ect... not sourcemod plugins. You putting a pack of plugins uploaded as a mod is very misleading. And to top it off, there are 303 useless files in the rar, and those useless files have no reason to be in there. It's pointless to include them in the pack.
If you managed to make these changes to the game without out plugins, then it would be a mod. But right now it isn't.
Updated july 2014 to lasted version of the game.

am using listen server how could i make public dedicated with non steam game? am using latest version 1.0.2.9.
i tried the mod but there are 4 survivors not 6
Before I even THINK of downloading this, let me ask: WHY U NO MAKE CUSTOM CHARS INSTEAD!? Also, will the extra 2 chars be AI-Controlled in Singleplayer?
