Killing Floor is a survival horror total conversion set in London, England. In a laboratory under the city, a series of human experiments in cloning and biological augmentation are being conducted by the employees of "Horizon". Horizon is a BioTech corporation formerly employed by the government to do the R&D on a top secret series of synthetic combat drugs which would enhance the effectiveness of soldiers in the field. Horizon's funding was cut, when their practices were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, but the research didn't stop. Funded by private money from the deep pockets of Horizon chairman and research scientist Kevin Clamely, tests continued in a more...private location. That was until something went wrong. There were reports that the lab had been comprimised; that the subjects were behaving abnormally...then, silence. Several days later, twisted shapes began to emerge from the confines of the lab into the city above.

But things have been abit hectic in my personal life, and all sorts of stuff got in the way of progress....

Regardless! We HAVE been making it. There is a new weapon in the the game, the Winchester rifle! This baby , besides the crossbow is the only headshot-enabled weapon for use in Survival gametype (vs. zombies).

Winchester Rifle Winchester Rifle in-game

Why have i called the core gametype of Killing Floor by this name? Because we have implemented a new and very fun deatmatch style gametype called "Feud" as well!

That's right, you will now be able to frag your chums (Soldier vs. Soldier fighting mind you) in free for all if you get bored of cooperating to bring down zombies.

It's a little deeper than that, actually.

I have made a mirror set of Feud-specific guns with altered damages and behaviours. But nothing so drastic you wont' know how to handle them if you've used em' in Survival.

Basically, Feud has a few slightly different rules to go by including slightly increased movement speeds, the removal of slowdown when a player is hurt, and headshot capability for any and all weapons, though some are better at it than others. You wont be dissapointed here. It's fast paced, and emphasizes skill rather than running around hoarding items and powerups and crap as was the case in UT2k4.

Expect big things soon guys, we're really pushing forward and everyone on the team I think just wants to get this thing out to the public!

Enjoy the screens, and ill see y'all next time
