Jalaso doom, a mod made specifically to overhaul certain lighting aspects of doom 1. Certain areas that lack shadows to make the scene more realistic, this mod fixes. Some areas like the first level of doom 1 lack alot of shadows that would appear in modern remakes of this game in different engines. This mod doesn't cheat by modifying the engine in anyway. infact, Jalaso doom will work with any engine port of doom for any machine that supports it, so no additional modification is needed. Shadows and lighting adjustment will be made using in engine tools already available to us.

Quick rundown of progress and a bit about the future..

Hey guys, sorry for the long ass update waits, i'll try and speed them up in the coming future.

So, as of current, progress is going a little sluggishly since i've been taken breaks to work on other projects aswell, just had to drop one project since it was too time consuming and way to ambitious so that means more time for more better projects (like this one).

As of now i've got e1m4 almost completely finished and i'm currently just polishing some areas, all of the other maps are currently a WIP.

In the mean time, i'll just go about some thoughts for the future incase i wanna eventually do some doom 2 or expand towards TNT or heretic. I've been planning on doing other mods or expansions, and also planning on making an OC mappack for doom 1 if i'm in the mood for it, so look out for those in the coming future.
