Jurassic Rage is an episodic, team-based, dinosaur infested modification for Unreal Tournament 2004. We are undertaking the challenge to incorporate fun gameplay with a realistic world and an evolving storyline into one well-tested and balanced package released every 30 days. Every month a new version will be released, each one with as many new features as possible, exposing new story plots and allowing you to experience them ingame. Fun and gameplay are top priority in JR:Evolution, therefore if some element isn't fun enough, we'll keep working on it until it will be good enough. Your feedback is invaluable to us and we will consider any and all ideas you post. Jurassic Rage merges single-player and multiplayer. We have multiplayer gametypes that can be played like missions in a single player game, except that you can play them on any map that supports it, not just one.

Well, we have quite a few thing to announce. Firstly our new site and domain is up. Splaty has done a great job on the site, it is fully dynamic for the development team, easy to work with and easy to view. Take a look at his grand work here; Jurassic-rage.net Thanks to Digital 9s for sponsoring us.

Our musician The Blackwater Project has come with something special, it his first official track for Jurassic Rage, top quality stuff, listen to it here.

Next on the adgenda are scenes of our work in-progress velociraptor model. Featured in the scene is also the HK Socom Mark 23 pistol. Both the velociraptor and socom need spectacular and normal maps, and the level they are in was put together in 5 minutes by me, it by no means represents our mapping ability:

Socom Mk. 23 in Half-Life 2; In addition to this is a render of our Spas 12 which is currently being textured.

I'd personlly like to welcome TeddyBear ot our team, he's the texture artist from Sven Co-Op and has already done some amazing work. And lastly we have an interview on halflife2.net. It is a bit out-dated as it took a while to get online, but everything you need is there. See it here. We'll have more to show you soon!

Nice work, though that Velociraptor looks more like a giant Compsognathus.

Thats becuase its meant to... The one's on JP were innacurate to the actualy physical structure of the dinosaur, it should in theory have looked like this and only been about 3 foot tall:

Well, whether the ones in JP were wrong or not they looked FEARSOME..

Yours is good, but doesnt look overly terror inducing.

Of course i'd have to see it in motion before i can come to any decision.

It's a really sweet gun ingame!

As for the raptor, it is based on bone dimensions, not steven spielburgs imagination :) and if you think it's not fearsome, wait till you play it in game.

head on over to the site to see some more work.
