Hello to all, as promised here is the progress of this January. First we start with a creation by Regis, the Ford Explorer model Jurassic Park:
Now the raptor egg created by enigma:
About programming, Came has coded some shader & visual effects. But also begun the integration of the new inventory system with the help of Robert for the design. As the embodiment of the system of notes, I'll let the video speak for itself:
And In this next video, you can see the job made by Robert & CameleonTH... Surprise, the jeep is drivable:
See you soon... take a look at the end of this week, one little updated maby!!!
Im loving the note and inventory system. Props to the coder for pulling it off cleanly.
Looks promising. Inventory looks handy and intuitive.
Cool updates :D I think the texture on the steering wheel is mirrored, it spells 'Jeep' backwards :/
might be copyright issue, and they decided to call it peeJ :D
Brainless kids dont have a right to think.
soo when you say "Brainless kids" you think of yourself?
Everything looks great! Nice update.
Thats not a steering wheel from YJ Jeep. BTW nice ride.
You mean in the Explorer?
That note/inventory system is what I want! :D
im loving what i see, but might i suggest raising the height of the rear view mirror on the wind shield? it looks like it would seriously get in the way of being able to see whats to your right.
Well since you drive with the WASD keys and look with mouse I don't see it much of a problem. The mirror is placed where it should be. Could possibly be scaled down a bit.
We'll keep it all in mind though. Thanks :)
looks great! the jeep and inventory system are coming along very nicely!
Looking sweet guys, I still want to see some dinos though.
It seems that everyone has become a pro coder overnight ??. Every new hl2 mod is looking awesome with features great work.
Prob be better off not having a window on the jeep, and trying to cause collision on the brush so it dosent poke through the vehicles and models.
Doing great though!
Definitely need to keep the music that was in the inventory/notes video. Sounds very close to the Sega Genesis Jurassic Park music; awesome.
