Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus (JJ2+) adds countless features and bug fixes to both Single Player and Multiplayer gameplay within JJ2, and is used almost universally by most serious players. It has much better network code than the original game, adding console commands to online games, fixing most major game-crashing errors and connection problems, allowing permitted clients to log in as "remote administrators" in someone else's server and control the gameplay, and adding several new multiplayer gamemodes. It additionally fixes or enhances many of the events in the game, and allows level designers far more power than in regular JJ2 through the addition of an easy-to-use scripting language. JJ2+ takes everything great about JJ2 and adds so much more on top of it; it is truly a must-download. JJ2+ is distributed under the MIT license.

Treasure Hunt and Race multiplayer modes have received major overhauls; there's a new team-based gamemode "Head Hunters"; new "mutators" feature lets users write their own game settings, game modes, weapons, chatbots, or whatever they'd like; new Green and Yellow teams are available in some modes; graphics and sound effects can be imported from external files; it's much easier to browse your collection of usermade levels; and lots more! Jazz Jackrabbit 2's online multiplayer has never had more features or fewer bugs, and the scripting language support has reached the point that you can code entire new games within JJ2+. This is version 5.0, the first major version number increase (the previous releases on ModDB were all in the 4.x family) in over two years.

Hi. I'm trying to use the plusifier.exe to patch my jazz2.exe. However, whenever I select the jazz2.exe, the plusifier crashes. I've reinstalled the game and redownloaded JJ2+ and yet the problem persists. Any help is appreciated!
Are you sure you're using a version of jazz2.exe that JJ2+ supports? Namely, 1.23 (not 1.23s or 1.20) or 1.24 (but not 1.24s, 1.24x, or the LK Avalon version)? If so, please post more details in the forums where we can actually get notifications that people have posted, since ModDB is a really bad medium for troubleshooting
