Jane's WWII Fighters was released way back in 1998. It is considered a good WWII Flight Sim in it's day. I still have my original CDs. I always felt that it has a good balance between Simulator and game. Have recently gotten the bug to play the game again, I set about getting the game running and looking as good as possible on modern hardware and operating system (Windows 10). For a video game that, as of this posting, is 22 years old, I think I managed to get the ol' gal looking pretty good!

Uploaded the graphics update patch to C:\Program Files (x86)\WWII Fighters 2020. Did not get a message about overwriting existing files. Also, I am seeing a message to upgrade Reshade to ver. 4.8.2 when game screen initially opens before it switched to full screen mode.
Thank you for all your work to revive this wonderful game! I still have all the original disks. This was a staple for many years.
Program Files (x86)\WWII Fighters 2020\WW2 Fighters is where the update files ultimately need to go. They need to be where the game's exe and ini files are at basically. Those files are named ww2f.exe and ww2.ini respectively.
had the game running great now when i hit play from the launcher nothing happens. tried reinstalling. any ideas?
