Insurgence Mod: Half-Life
The idea behind this mod is simular to Americas Army. You are in the army training against the opposing forces. The objectives are to either capture points, defend points or eliminate the other team.
I made this mod to learn more about coding in C++ and Half-Life. I converted some of my old maps, ins_building & ins_puzzled, to be test maps.

Insurgence and insurgents are two different words. I'm pretty sure he meant to call the mod Insurgence.

It's not stealing when you come right out and say "hey I made this mod to be like Americas Army". Mainly because I wanted to make maps and start servers for free, which you cant do in AA... also I wanted to add my own extras to it, and learn at the same time.
Insurgency has the same ideas, not to mention the same name as my mod.. so its quite a coincidence.
Leader based gameplay.. squads and so forth...
But yeh, its basically AA and CS... of coarse both cs and aa come from rainbow6... and not to mention quake, doom, wolfenstein, it all comes from something. Like your name came from my mods name.
This mod looks decent, but to bad the website sucks other wise I might have followed it a bit more carefuly. I know you stole your ideas for this mod but everyone does it in todays world because almost all the ideas have been taken up.
I also submitted the files to fileplanet earlier today, I'm sure it will take them some time to update it but i'll post a link when they do. Thank you for your patients.
Install instructions are right under where you download.
To install: create a folder called 'insurgence' in your Half-Life directory. Extract the files into the insurgence directory you just made.
note: using Steam you install to SteamAppsyouremail@whatever.comhalf-life ... and that should do it.

My server doesn't allow big file downloads so I had to break it up. The ftp is slow also so be patient, and if you get errors in the files, please try to download again - it should resume (sorry this ftp sucks, but its free).
I have no weapon models as of yet.. only that one character model. I'm doing it all myself right now.
