Let’s start off with the maps. As we know it, Epistle 3 begins with your helicopter getting brought down. These maps were art-passed by our lead mapper and modeler, env_wind:
=============== MODELS ===============
env_wind has also created a ton of new models for his latest LambdaBuilds entry and is reusing them in this mod:
And he has reskinned some default Half-Life 2 assets to fit the snowy theme:
As for the characters, he has created a brand-new Alyx model based on a piece of official Episode Three concept art, and has given Arctic camouflage to Combine Soldiers.

I really love the work you guys have done here. I mean the combine model seems pretty realistic to the environment. One thing that really confuses me here however is the Alyx model, I know you guys were trying to create a different outfit for her and I don't have anything against the hat.. its just the coat, it looks like she had a different variation of her coat that was red and had some fur. I think it would be better if you guys put a little more variation into her coat. Maybe make the coat a trench coat or maybe a full on fur coat, which would make sense for the environment. I know its a pain to model, I do a lot of modeling myself, I mean I'm modeling a Macintosh model right now.. but I feel a little more work could go into the Alyx model. Anyways other then that I really like the work you guys have done so far, I feel like you guys have really embraced the style of the Half Life 2 E3 concept art, especially in the mapping. I hope what I said here won't deter your guys project too much, I just figured a little constructive criticism wouldn't hurt.
Hi, we already have plans for remaking Alyx's model, for now its just a placeholder, also the hair bits are jiggly (:
We will also make Alyx's breasts jiggle, if we feel like it.

One thing I'd suggest is add/make more custom foliage, it would REALLY add to the already good-looking environments.
