Black op agents usually wouldn't have beards, I also think he shouldn't name him Alexander Shepard because of Opposing Force, so maybe it should be changed.
You're right, on after thought I'd say drop the beard completely.
And the name you see there isn't the name of the character, it's the name of the artist who drew it.
About alex shepard its mean artiist name i just forget in army how write something on arts correctly.
