Starting in 1519, India is Fractured into Several Hindu and Muslim Ruled Empires. Babur the Timurid begins his invasion from Afghanistan. The Portuguese, the first European traders to establish trade colonies in India, have begun their wars against the Muslims. Gunpowder is relatively new and having a strong effect on the peasant and elephant armies traditional to medieval India. =Simpler Submods for a 1725AD and 327BC start date are also in progress. HELP WANTED: historical research/editing models and textures/scripting help/and making custom battle maps and building models

Just extract into mod folder and replace all -includes last menu hotfix -Updates to unit cards, stats/costs, more historical names with translations, some new units -More unit stat updates coming soon

So everytime i try to start a campaign the game takes me back to the main menu i am unable to play any campaign
Sorry for the late reply, make sure you only have "India Total War Alpha Build 0.4" downloaded and then move the Custom Battle patch and replace files.
I'm using the Non-steam version of MTW2 Gold.
Were you able to start campaigns before the patch?
If you don't get it working I'll release an updated version soon that will maybe work
-Also try deleting the map.rwm file in the India\data\world\maps\base folder
