I Actually really like what you're doing with the Node system and have loved what you've shown of the settlements so far, but this one concerns me a bit. Does this mean you're getting rid of the entire Gohma hive ascetic they have going on right now and replacing it with this infested tree stuff? I'll be a bit sad if that's the case as I really like their current look, although I will admit this looks pretty nice as well.
This does look to be a complete visual redesign of the Gohmas' structures, but I think this is for the better. While I will miss the previous visual design of the Gohma, they had a LOT of repeated models and assets that started to make everything blend together. They also felt TOO close to StarCraft's Zerg with their structure design, and the Gohma going in a more 'Spider-y' direction and focusing on dead trees and webs works better in my opinion while also leaning into their theme of being Spiders.
