Description
"The southwestern slopes of Soseheh Sohg, commonly known as Death Mountain. Dodongos and Tektites infest this inhospitable and rugged battleground."
The Death Mountain map has two primary passes between the starting locations of both players; the more direct path up the mountain and the longer path loaded with various Nodes that descends the mountain. Your starting base is quite defendable since there are only two real paths you can expect armies to attack from (not counting flying units, of course).
