A pipe wrench, also known as a monkey wrench, or a Stillson Wrench, was used by Adrian Shepard in Opposing Force. Shepard first got it when he left the lab, being the first weapon he got. It has a normal hit primary function, and a charged hit secondary hit.

Hmm, maybe because you'd probably find these things all around Black Mesa, the wrench could easily loosen or even brake.
Monkey Wrenches aren't really designed to crack a zombies skull open, you know.
Also, check the stunbaton for my awesome idea about it.
