An SP mission that lets you stay with UNATCO a little longer, an option many people, like myself, have missed while playing Deus Ex. This is not a simple 'shoot'em all'-type mission, the player has to proceed with care. Stealth is actually important, though probably not 100% necessary if you know what you have to do. ;) Especially in the main map the player is not forced to move around in a certain way. The level design provides many possible paths and different outcomes, the order for completing the objectives is not important, you can even fail some of them. 29 MB download, a couple of hours playtime. Have fun. :)

Nice work, some dialogues are terrible however!

A nice add-on mission to see what the other branch of the story could have been like.

I don't know if it's good to put a such high rating because well the level design is amazing, lots of interactivity and functionality out of the game.
The writing is quite terrible, but well I think it's not the focus of the mod.
As for the interesting factors, the difficulty strengthen the surveillance systems and there is many features that makes it a believable hostage rescue mod.
I still have a major problem with the mod, some NPCs seems to have random reactions in either terrorist and hostage side making saving essential, and also the random enemy health making the non lethal gameplay awful, playing lethal is fine, but non lethal is a waste because of this, some enemies requires too much darts to be tranqued, and even after heavily damaging them with a dragon's tooth (one strike in the legs or the arms) I still need to put them two tranquilizer darts with the trained skill.
Personally I would put a perfect note if it hadn't those random health bags terrorists there, because that's for me what kill things in this mod. Technically it's play stealth and lethal, it's the best way to handle the mod.

Probably the best Deus Ex mod for infiltration oriented gameplay, at least in the main map (the hotel). This map is well designed and most of the new ideas inside it (e.g. rescuing the hostages) are well implemented.
For the rest, it's obviously way shorter, but also not as good as the best DX mods (lacks on story, accordance to DX spirit, the other maps and there are several various flaws with NPCs, enemies and missions).
Still a nice mod.

Beautiful mod ♥

The beginning is a interesting how it shows you a scaled down model of the hotel, and you get a pretty decent briefing. And while the premise sounds intriguing the execution is above average but some places are average at best. You take on the hotel with minimal equipment and have to get in without sounding any alarms or else the hostages will get killed.

You get 8 floors through stairs and 2 you can get to through the fire escape railing but this is a bit misleading, about 3 floors are copy pasted so they look the same and have alot of doors that don't open. On one of them when your scouting around you'll find theres a door that can be opened and beyond you find 2 hostages.
The rest of the floors are well made, elevators are offline so you have to use the stairs which makes the level feel longer. Theres a secret room with surveillance that was really nice fun to find.. and just enough terrorists to make it feel satisfying to win.

You can even go down into the sub level garage (which you will have to get some of the hostages), nicely done.

Things start to take a dramatic turn when you find that only accounts for just over half the mod. I would say the rest of the mod is better than the hotel.. you have to fend off an attack on a Unatco safe house... then go through a detailed city

+Alot excellent interiors
+Decent storyline, though we never find out what part those laser guns play and what their "point" was.
+Some hidden goodies
+Fairly difficult
+Really long

-Some average interiors
-can be annoying going in without sound alarms
-I found quite a few NPC's who won't talk to you, meaning they seem like frozen statues.
