Realism: Hostile Intent is all about realism, covering realistic weapon damage, realistic missions and mission stories. Hostile Intent gives the player the feeling he's actually there. Be it a nuclear submarine, an embassy raid or a military base in the middle east, each and every one of them is modelled with a level of detail that a lot of other games/mods/tc's don't have. Amazing gameplay: The best of the best on both teams. In Hostile Intent you can either join the ranks of the world's best counter-terrorism units or be part of a member of one of the many terrorist organisations existing in the world. In the end it doesn't even matter, because in Hostile Intent you'll be fighting for your life. Only 5 days until our projected v1.1 release! Time to show you the goods!!

All the maps for v1.1 are updated, some were updated pure for gameplay balance issues and some were updated visually. As you can see in the screenshot hi_congo is one of them. Squad decided to change the lighting because it was sometimes very hard to see if you were watching a Nato or a Tango. He also changed the layout a bit for balance issues but you won't see that until sunday >=] For now you'll have to settle with this screenshot showing off the new lighting and the new skybox.

For the sharp eyed people among you, you can also see a glimpse of a modified playerskin by Crazer which will feature in Hostile Intent 1.1.

There will also be new maps in v1.1. Featured today is hi_majesty, our submarine map. It's a project that was started a couple of years ago by Jeronimo. However Jeronimo left before we could release it so it was finished and adjusted for Hostile Intent by OpticHelix.
