Well, what the name doesn't say, the pictures should. I aim to make Homeworld 2 a visual feast. At this point I plan no gameplay changes. Credit to CNLPEPPER for his v2 shaders. Also feel free to tell me what you like and not, I can't guarantee everybody's happiness but I'll try my best to listen.
the sequence after the intro cinematic and before you start playing
Damn thats beautiful, Looks great. Were you able to get rid of that odd problem you were having? Didnt see anything wrong in this video
no, the problem persists, but you dont see it unless you are viewing at precisely the right angle and distance from an object, and the camera stays very close to the objects all the time, well without the range of the problem. I will try to post more a bit later. Oh, and thanx, i'm glad you liked it
SEXY
This looks amazing. Well done. My only criticism would be that the hangar is a bit too bright, but oh well, that might be the look that you're going for with that.
:D There might be hope for you yet... I don't think I changed the glow though, but I'll look into it. it may simply be that the rest is darker and the contrast makes the glow seem brighter.
Could be it, either way, looks amazing. Keep up the good work!
OUTSTANDING! Between this and HW remastered, I cannot WAIT to play Homeworld again.
god damn you i want to play homeworld 2 again but i dont own it or have the *cough*pirated*cough* iso anymore. pirated because i cant buy it anywhere :( but totally gonna buy it when gearbox re release it on steam
also is it possible to add anti aliasing to homeworld 2?
yes, you have to do it in the nvidia control panel or whatever control panel comes with radeons, depending on what you have. there should be settings there to force anti aliasing on in specific applications. Have fun.
There was a minor problem with the details. Like the Arm of the resource collector should be touching the core.
