Eh, isn't that twinkle twinkle little star from the dead space trailer? Personally I think the menu in general is too dead spaceish but if your aiming for that I guess its fine.
get me a copy of the beta so i can play through it without sound thats how i come up with the best ambiant tracks, cuz ill play it on one comp while i add sounds from another comp so i can really bring the feelin and essence of teh game out in the music :D
Homeworld always had that reserved, discrete feeling. The Singing I think is the complete opposite. Are you absolutely set for that already? Id prefer some whispers in the background along that ambient-sound.
Id also prefer the background to be more in the style of the HW2cutscenes: Some really small details moving slowly. Animation is barely to be seen - yet you feel - something is going on. The Movement is subtle and promises of more to happen.
we are working on a HW 2 type animation for the background. Its going to take time. Music was just for fun, perhaps some ambient opera like music in the final version

um i make music, i did the stuff in slipstream tpof from scratch, i think it might be time for some more originals for hw3 ^^
