Tips for fighting multiple CPU Experts:
- know your hotkeys
- build lots of anti-missile defenses and shields
- build hyperspace inhibitors so enemies can't suddenly jump into your base
- don't sit and wait until your RUs run out, go out and find crates
- get ahead of the game by ranking up as soon as possible
- capture as many megaliths as possible and prevent your opponents from capturing them
- intelligence is the key, see what the enemy is doing and you'll be much more prepared for what's coming
- it is always a top priority to eliminate enemy long range threats before their weapon range covers you
- when you can't beat them, run!

I just tested m05, couldn't replicate your problem. Send me your Hw2.log after crash so I can see what's wrong. It would be very helpful if you also record a video.
There is shadow in the game by default, however, if you are using the QEffect plugin, there will be no shadow (you need to remove opengl32.dll in your Release folder to re-enable shadow).
