HLQuake aims to port elements of half life gameplay to the original Quake. Currently, this mod contains a fully functional gravity gun, breakable objects, and breakable environments (for custom maps). Kill your enemy with the last one's gibs and throw the ogre's grenades straight back at him! HLQuake is in early, active development and will contain some quirks. Source available on GitHub.
Very nice, do you have a roadmap of what you are going to do? Also this may be a weird request, but is there a good guide on how to make custom weapons for Quake?
Thanks! The next updates will be mostly bug patches, further down the road I am looking to add enemies from across the hl games. I am also working on some custom maps designed specifically for the new mechanics of the mod. As for a custom weapon guide, there are some great Quake C tutorials here: Quakewiki.org
