This mod improves the game graphics and gameplay. The mod consists 3 parts so users can install any parts on their choice. The first part includes a revamped game engine, provides dynamic lights of shootings, fires and explosions. Besides of this the new engine provides improved world details drawing so a picture becomes much detailed than with classic game engine. In addition, there is improved commanding of player's companions was added. Also this part includes the config files for optimal graphics settings. The second part includes some modified maps with removed the unlimited enemy respawn and modified gameplay. The third part includes config files to make the weapon params and enemy health more realistic and make the gameplay more interesting.

Ever since I first played this mod, going back to the vanilla game was incredibly difficult. The restoration of dynamic muzzle flashes, persistent bodies and bullet casings, and best of all, making allies actually STAY WHERE I TELL THEM TO, which if you've played HL2, you know how badly the base game needed that feature. Sure this isn't some fancy mod like MMOD with all new particle effects and better enemy ai and projectile bullets, but it adds such a simple yet impactful change to gameplay with how you command the ai, and add's nice realism to the destruction you cause by not making gibs and bodies fade. It also increases the draw distance so there's no stupid pop-in, as if you needed another reason to download this.
