Half-Life 2: Day Of Defeat This game is meant for gamers that have played Half-Life 2 and Day of Defeat: Source. This MOD combines both games to form a action packed single-player game. Here's the first part of the story: This is not what the MOD story will start off as, but it kinda gives you an idea of what the game is going to be like. The story starts off during a battle in WW2, you and your comrades are fighting the axis in a big gun battle in a small town. All of the sudden a loud unusual sound is heard, everyone pauses wondering what it was. Then out of no where a building blows up from the cannon of a strider. Everyone starts running in confusion while the strider blows away nearby soilders. You find shelter in an old building, locating a window and peering out into the street viewing the new enemy.
