I'm loving the work you're doing with the cities... but I think there's one thing missing. You should put more houses outside the walls. Right now it look as if there were no low class citizens in the cities.

I second that remark, the Romans invented the suburb after all; they had enormous urban sprawl for the first time in history.

It would be irrelevant to place buildings outside the walls, as you won't see them in game.

Well the suburb buildings could be things the besiegers could hide behind as they advance up to the walls. And if the defender decides to burn the peoples suburb houses he will lose popularity but be more likely to win the siege as the besiegers wont be able to hide behind buildings advancing towards the walls and thus the defender will have an advantage. Also, lords could forbid the construction of suburb houses meaning they wont have this problem but will not make as much tax revenue or something?

Bit complex though....:S
Are there going to be navies in Hegemony then? Because there must be a way to get to sicily...

omg that city will need about 10,000 troops to take over it. I can get to over a million with cheats but it might be very laggy :(
