HD Veteran+ (v2.0) brings a challenging, refreshed, and exciting way to experience DOOM 3. This mod greatly extends the difficulty of the game; the player will take more damage from enemies, deal less damage to enemies, and pick up less ammo throughout the game. The enemy AI scripts have been edited to make them more aggressive as well. To balance these setbacks, your arsenal has been re-worked to fit a new combat style; every move you make is now a careful choice, and can be the deciding factor between life and death. Choose your weapons and strategy wisely! In addition to gameplay changes, this mod greatly increases the graphical quality of the game. Textures and models have been updated to look more vivid and crisp, as well as the lighting and shadows. AI and weapon models are more detailed, the UI is now in full HD, and the loading splash-screens have also been updated. All of this adds up to make the game much more vivid and atmospheric.
