Progress continues on the Dhewm 3 port of Hardqore; Hard Corps. While there is still plenty of work to do, many of the major gameplay updates are in place. This includes the improved melee combat which allows the player to attack without weapon cycling for instant use. The revamped HUD is almost complete.

Both of which can be seen in the gameplay video below. The original demo map has been updated and features many fixes, improvements and a much larger number of enemies. More features are coming to ramp up the gameplay and abilities of our slayer!

Hard Corpse is still on track for it's first release this year.

Contra SS a big inspiration for the original mod. Back then 2.5d games were rare. The original name was derived from that with a Q thrown in it since it was a Quake 4 mod.

Hi Revility :D
All new stuff looks great! Good addition to the gameplay!

Edit: I see I'm marked as "creator", but I actually didn't contribute to this new version. Just to say I'm not praising my own work :)

I can change your status if you like. This mod wouldn't exist without your work. What I've done for the update hard code wise pails to how much you put into it in the past :)
