The Infinity will be amazing. I noticed that the Infinity is about the same length as 5 Halcyons lined up. So the Infinity will be almost double the size of the Thermopylae.
OH MY GOD this is amazing!!! *squeals like a little girl*. By the way, what's the tiny ship between the Mako-corvette I think and the the Charon-class frigate?
Edit: Dont worry. It IS the Mako corvette. But another question; how does this scaling compare to original sins ships? Like will I be able to see my vessels battling it out or will they bring tiny specks?
Oh you'll see em. Trust me.
Sins actually handles scaling really well. You can zoom in to a tiny ship really close and keep the bigger ship farther away.
But like in a battle, will the ships be really far apart when they engage each other and be really small? The reason I'm worried is because the mod SOGE made the models super small and engaged each other at ridiculous distances so there was like no action, plus the fighter craft were so small the lasers were bigger than the actual ships and they flew way too fast.
I don't mind if the ships are really large because it's more a strategic game than a realistic one.
They're close enough. In SOGE we did that for realism purposes - Somebody (I forget who - maybe evillejedi?) actually looked through and scaled the models and ranges to be exactly according to canon...
I don't suppose you could toss in the names for each ship in the description? Would help out players who aren't as familiar with the book canon and allow them to cite their facts in the comments. :)
I believe that the destroyer is larger in-game than in this exact render, but also consider that the Thanatos, like something out of a modern front-line tank's role, is designed to be denser and have a sleeker profile.
impressive stuff!

Im pretty sure the supercarrier is supposed to be bigger, and what the hell happened to the Orion?
The UNSC Infinity is larger. We're still having internal debates about the size of our supercarrier, but she will be smaller than the Infinity.
4 km long for the carrier apparently and is your covvie destroyer gonna be bigger cause apparently it's larger than a marathon.
then where is the Orion?
Orion is still awaiting for textures, and Phoenix as well I think
Where is the Orion at?
i just asked that question

Whoo! and playing Halo anniversary at the same time!
I would have thought that the light carrier would be roughly in-between the cruiser sizes and the carrier size
You know the 2,000m mark
Mind me you've probably thought of that already
Oh my eyes they can't take that much awesomeness all at once.
Have I seen you on SB.com before I mean the highest paid sci-fi special forces
Ya I was there.
I like

We're not pulling a SOGE on you.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated :)
No worries.

Is the Phoenix class not in here because you are making a new model for it?
I think these are all of the models Ani skinned... So the phoenix isn't here... yet
It is in the pipeline. Eventually.
Amazing work. Out of curiosity, how small is the ship furthest to the right in comparison it to left most ship?
Supercarrier is currently sitting somewhere around the 4.5 - 5km mark.
The prowler is under 200 metres.
Super carrier looks super, and the light carrier looks less like a capital ship. Niiiiice.
Better than porn.
What about the UNSC Spirit of Fire? I did see a model long time ago but since then haven't seen it again.
Will it serve as the colony ship only or a capital ship with colony settlement ability.
Keep it up! :)
That's the Phoenix class. The current model is old and kinda crappy but it will be in the mod
I'm excited XD
Lovely!
Those are some of the best looking models and skins I've ever seen. Wow.

It's........Glorious.....*insert glorious face here*
Are you going to make the destroyer larger because it looks kinda small compared to the paris and charon class frigates

Will the marathon be lager in game?
