A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
In the post-war universe, the Stident-class has come to represent the vast technological leap and new-found superiority of the hardened, rebuilt UNSC. Aside from being one of the elite few ships currently being deployed that have shields, its weapons are nothing to be taken lightly either. The class is, of course, instantly recognizable to anyone who has played Halo 4.
Props to Didact for the model, though. He does great work as always.
I would seriously shoot this model after tracking it a few days, stuff it, mount it above my fireplace, and then read a good book and enjoy a glass of scotch while basking in its impressive presence.
Diadact is a amazing modeler i would like to shake his/her hand
Its a her
Run to her, kid. Embrace her.
I have a feeling the next comment might be a little... dark...
Embrace the Darkside my young Jedi master.
Not what I meant.
You're a bastard Zero :P
Guys I am a dude not a chick haha
Don't listen, he's only saying that so you don't steal his undying love and devotion.

(buried)
dat aft
other than that absolutely wonderful ship can't wait to play with the ships and destroy things
Let the downvotes commence.
aft-er all, it happens to anyone who uses that joke.
Will you ever learn?
to be honest i really only did that to stop other people from doing that... and it apparently worked
Heheheheh it's you now eh....
Beautiful. Amazing job
Cant wait to drop 10 of these out of infinity and watch the covenants soul fade away in fear
I am very happy this became a different class of ship in it's own right as opposed to being a model replacement for the old frigates! Love the model, cannot wait to use it.
In my mind, it was a serious offense from 343 to us fans because they had replaced the beloved Charon.
Bungie did the same thing in halo 2, replaced the pillar of autumn with a marathon in the opening cutscene. 343 might have had a time/budgetting issue and ttherefore couldnt make a new model. Bungie might also have had a similar issue with halo 2
The Charon still exists in the Universe. This is a totally different ship.
I don't know why they re-textured the Forward Unto Dawn to this.
Oh man that's beautiful.
I want this, though I can imagine it will take 6 or so tech labs to research first.
Now we need the Spartan Laser ships and all will be right with the universe.
Ever hopeful.
Well you impress me still with your ships I can't wait to start doing my video game design classes so I can start making some stuff for mods. I give two thumbs up to the maker of this and the infinity and all the other models. Well can't wait for the mod to release for rebellion.
wait will 6 of these come with the infinity due to the fact it docked them
What is the cross on the top for?
its a radio tower, just like seen here:
Halopedia.org
It allows the UNSC to communicate directly with the jesus.
Probably should have started using that before the Covenant almost exterminated us, may have helped
No! Silly goose, that's what the on-board chapel is for!
how good will a Strident Class Frigate be in comparison to The Paris, Charon and Stalwalt classes? besides the obvious answer of badass
My guess: better. Unless, of course you get Paris/Charon/Stalwart spammed...
Dat aft.
I had to be the one.
waaaaaaaaaaaay too late
I want that ship in my backyard.
I just want that ship
