I was expecting it to be more similar to the ORS in terms of textures and color, and those team color marks. Moddb.com
Nonetheless, it is still looking gorgeous, and you did it really quickly. You guys never cease to amaze me :)
We did have this concern ourselves, but in game it actually fits better than you would think (granted this may be more of an opinion than fact). The CPV shares the purple color with the CRS class, which is a ship that is just about as common as the CPV. I do see the concern though, as the CRS isn't a really noteworthy vessel in the fleet. Our stance on it is that the CPV in official sources is something you can't strongly relate to any other Covenant vessels like the CCS, which is what we tried to capture. The CPV blends, but yes you are going to notice a few differences, just like in lore.
**** every time you guys mention that it fits with the lore it makes me so happy. Very few people who mod or just make games like to stray from the set lore and I am so happy that this mod is very lore friendly. I cant thank the entire team enough for that.
Good point, but like the CRS it'd be nice to at least see some of the red accents or black plate-lining thrown on there just to have that semblance of uniformity, while still mixing it up a little.
On a side note; Cole and Uni totally have a good cop-bad cop thing going when it comes to addressing the community.
Oh well that's a totally understandable change in pace then, would help this CPV fit in that much more without that detail.
Would there then be a higher chance of seeing the other Covenant ships getting a colorized hue too? Maybe with various shades of blue and purple between ships?
Looks fantastic! My only criticisms would be that it has a bit too much team color, and it could still use that subtle hexagonal pattern the covenant loves so much; side by side with the autumn the plate pattern looks a bit too similar.
Its gorgeous, i don't know if i should send it out to fight or just make love with it.
Orgasmicly good. Just wow!!
Your such a tease.

What this guy said,
It's still good, but it's going to be just as jarring seeing it stick out amongst the rest of fleet as it was with the placeholder.

Underside of the CPV is black. In all likelihood the red war paint on Covie ships will all go away.

Unlikely.
