BUGS Thread - Half-Life: Zombie Edition mod for Half-Life

Post here any bugs you've found.

--- Scientist with shotgun can't properly aim (I'm testing a new shooting system and he is a result)
--- Grunts and Xen monsters doesn't work like Barneys and Scientists when you turn supervision on
- thou shalt not post bugs without answering this questions:
--- Where (what place on map)
--- When (what did you done when experienced that bug, have you seen any unusual alerts etc.)

when i try to start the game it says host erorr and something missing about the crow bar wat do i do????

Can you please be more exact? First of all, what version of Half-Life do you use, then when exactly problem occurs and what exactly is said in the alert?

1 im using the original version with the custom games. 2 it says missing sound event crowbar

Okay, you know what is WON version and Steam version of Half-Life? I need that and when the problem occurs: when you just clicked new game, or after a few seconds of loading, or when?

The Derma/Menu For Breader caused an instant crash when i upgraded on the testmap.

im not using the version im using the old disc version. it occurs after seconds of loading

I was just trying to upgrade to the breeder in general.

Ok, try adding this file - Moddb.com (admins are still checking this, I hope it will pass) into your \Half-Life\zombie\events\ folder.

ok can you tell me how to break the glass im trying and trying jumping towards the glass but nothing happends it just jump towards the glass as if it where a wall

So, answer these questions, please:
1. What version of Half-Life do you have?
2. Do you see headcrab claws?
3. Do you hear impact sound of trying to break the glass?
4. What messages in console do you have?

ok 1. i got the normal version of half life not half life source 2. i see headcrabs claws 3. when i impact i dont hear any impact sounds i do hear the headcrabs jump sound and 4. no message comes. please help me i really want it to work because i think youre mod is really cool

and i have tried deleting it and downloading it again and it still does the same

1. What is "normal"? Steam version, yes?
3. Are you sure MOUSE1 is binded to your primary attack, bot the jump or secondary attack (check your config)? Can you zombify himans with it (use noclip and go through the glass towards the scientist nearby and try to zombify him with clicking left mouse button).

wery simple i dont see background and when i trying to play it show only black screen and voice later when i press esc it shows:

in console : Missing bitmap font: gfx\vgui\fonts_Default Scheme.tga

of nvm now all right

yeah pretty sure and i just use hl1 and when i write noclip niothing happens

Erm, type sv_cheats 1 in your console first. Then noclip. THen fly through the glass, type nocklip again and try to zombify scientist.
And even if you are sure, check you settings, so I will be sure then too.

ok i already tried using noclip with sv_cheat 1 and i dont work and i also checked my settings and it says bind "enter" +attack and bind "mouse 1" +attack plus it says a headcrab sound when it jumps but i doesnt say anything when i impact

i tried noclip one more time just to be sure and it worked.....and i can zombify the scientist

have gone trough the map it happens that after i have taken over an human i can break the glass as headcrab.

Hmm, strange. One more question then... Try to print i,pulse 102 at the begininng. You will receive zombie claws then. Try to break glass by them, and if it's worked, get your headcrab claws again (by pressing 1) and try to break it with them.
Oh, and, you have HUD from start, not from typing impulse 102 or zombifying scientist, right?

now noclip wónt work again and impulse 102 doesnt work either and i have tried writing sv_cheat and the hud is there from the start. well its an great mod i hope you will release it soon

I think you're having some troubles with your Half-Life distributive since nobody else reporting that bug and it's crucial enough to be noticed by everyone who played this. Besides, your client's acting weird from what I've seen here.

so shall i uninstall half life and install it again?

Don't know for sure.
