We are in 1998. The video game Half-Life comes out. The FPS edited by Sierra and developed by Valve is acclaimed by the critics. In fact, the game has received some fifty awards, dedicating it to the game of the year in 1998 and 1999. A few years later, Valve releases the Source Engine and adapts Half-Life on the Source engine. However, the remaster is a disaster. Already by the many bugs present and no graphical improvement. With this pack, you can now play completely remastered! With new HD textures, sounds restored to the taste of the day and bugs fixed!

Description

Not many changes, but this version includes a new mod that makes the sounds much better + AND The pack finally becomes a sourcemod. Special thanks to NukeThief for making the pack into a sourcemod!

I have placed the Half Life Source Remastered V3 folder in the sourcemods folder, and I restarted steam, but it looks no different from the original. This mod should not work properly

While I like Version 3 for having additional improvements. I don't really feel the music from black mesa fits the original half-life. The music is too loud and can drown out any story conversations. I hope there will be an option to include the original music for Version 4 as well as use of RTX Remix.

Silly question, but this is for Half-life Source correct? not the original Half-life?

Don't worry lol. So yes.
And if you seen a "sourcemod" is for the Source Engine, and not the GoldSRC engine, for Half-Life 1.
