The mod sets you into the boots of sergeant Kurt Jackson, a member of the British Special Air Service (SAS). You and your fellow soldiers such as Kyle Garrick and Captain Price are sent into various locations in Europe to fight against a strong and massive terrorist organization.
that's a prefab right? also nice mp5 model, but i think it looks too high poly for goldsrc, maybe consider turing down the poly's a little?
Agree
the model is not made by me it was provided to me by curseofnight. and yes it's a prefab but just modificated a bit
maybe you can ask him to make a lower-poly version? it will look better seeing as high poly models often look bad in goldsrc imo
and the low poly version will fit better with the rest of the mod
i'll ask
(Edited)
Sorry guys, I don't make LD HL1 content. It's only 3535 tris(including the arms, btw) which is low poly by my standards. The texture work already has a LD look anyway. It makes me cringe....
And whether or not a high poly model looks bad in a Half-Life mod depends largely on the quality of the content in the rest of the mod cambreaKer :)
As for the computer, I like it. I would suggest that the monitor have an animated texture. Find some kind of short, funny .gif image on Google and export and resize each frame to use for the textures.
As I've never used it, I have no idea if paint.net can export individual frames from animated gifs, but this is very easy to do with Fimg, and old Sprite editor for Quake engine games. You can find Fimg, and some other kool tools, here:
