Half-Life 2: Enhanced is a mod for Half-Life 2 that offers more immersive and realistic Half-Life 2. We aim to update Half-Life 2's graphics to the point that it looks nicer, without pushing it to the standards of modern gaming.

Always wanted something like this,still a bit buggy though which is understandable. Crashed at water hazard chapter at some loading point,a few minor lightning glitches but nonetheless,great mod!
This mod is just a joke.
Author just mindlessly throw random content from other mods\fpsbanana. There a bunch of maps build on 2007 and later engine that simply wont work on smod's 2006 engine, there is no "Parallax" or new shader because to implement it you need Smod source code, wich no one (besides original author) have and ENB wont work with mod architecture. All "Features" is just standart Smods features with reskins from fpsbanana, that we have since 2007, and all that cost 4.2 Gb of non-working thrash files.
Crashes a bit too much, but still, a great mod.
While a lot of the improvements and additions are good, I feel some of them are unnecessary.
I don't particularly like how many more combine there are and how the kicks can't destroy some boxes, though I reckon this is a glitch or something similar, and not intentional. The menu is also a bit messy, though I reckon that's going to be cleaned up later.
Overall, this mod is definitely worth it if you want to run through the Half-Life 2 campaign in a refreshing and challenging way.

this mod is awesome too bad some people stole some of these features and said "this is my work" on gamebanana someone stole the gravity gun model and the 4k blood is a modified version of this mod's blood anyway this mod is amazing i hope when we finish half-life source overhaul i could help him with the mod anyway awesome mod for an awesome game.
