Thanks for coming to Half-Life 2: Cops & Robbers, this is the childhood game we all used to play but now its time to again. One version this mod is the game begins after nocking over a bank, you have either tripped a silent alarm or your after those thieving mobsters with your investments. The other version is the cops have turned a fellow mobster and only need a little time to get your former mobster to tell the entire underground story of city, or if your the cop you got to keep him alive long enouph to tell the secrets of the mob to bring them down. The maps are a key part of this mod, think the movie "Road to Perdition" with the beautiful streets of Chicago in the 1930's and the scene when it pouring rain and Mikeal Suleven mows down his form boss and co-workers.

I have now found a direction for this mod to head in. If you have seen the TFC2 movie then you know the style of animation and models that will be created. Now like the title of this mod says "Cops and Robbers," this will be a game about the cops trying to capture the robbers. The cops will have five classes with specially designed talents, the five classes will be called pig, detective, dirty cop, security tech, and of coarse a sniper. Same as the cop’s, robbers will have five special class and they are, brute, sneak, bomb-man, muscle, and the BUM. More on the actually game play will be decided upon at a later date. For now I’m looking to create a team of moders that will allow it to have a fully functional demo by next year.

why do all the good original mod ideas never get finished. The only mods that ever get finished are the single player mods that are just like the game they modded from, the deathmatch mods, or the lame ww2 mods which there are a million of. Pick this mod back up and get some originality back out in the mod world.
I couldnt have said it better. Good idea. Would be a fun multiplayer game where you could pick a bar, thompson, 45 pistol, ect. any gun from that time really. Would be entertaining
This one is more of a capture the flag / attack - defend mod.
I would like to point out that my mod has nothing in common with the mod below ( Moddb.com ). Mine is set in the 1930’s, i.e. Tommy gun, Browning Automatic, etc. Also they have way points to capture where as I have the robbers taking cash to there hide-out from a bank or killing a hostage to win in my version.
