A mod all about the Beta version of Half Life 2's iconic City 17 chapter, that will attempt to restore the lost content found within the Half Life 2 Beta Leak and present the universe of Half Life 2 with a fresh new coat of paint in a much darker and more unique light.

Quite a fan of thus more dark and toxic take on wasteland, its sunny blue sky look really didn't match the rest of beta setting well.

oh ****, this looks so god damn cool, I love the sight of City 17 way off in the distance, gives off the sense of scale of the game world greatly, and I like this area, really desolate!

Description

Hello everyone! As the school year (for me) has ended and summer has began, now I'm able to start pumping updates out again. Now, this update includes and reworks the main menu map for the mod. The updated map includes: A reworked Razor Train, more foggy effects, a few moving parts of the light house like: the wheel on the side as well as the light house's light, a redesigned light house, a few more details that have been added to the main outpost such as: metal chairs, bottles, baskets with paint buckets, cables, metal trusses for support, 3D windows, chimneys, cracks, pipes, stains, ladders and others, the wasteland now has even more details like: boards, ship parts, some random abandoned ships, more rocks with different textures , A LOT more ambient noises like: the razor train's horn, citadel voices, wasteland winds and others. The City in the background also got a rework with more buildings visible such as the palace, the industrial sector and other minor ones. This update also brings a few other things not directly related to the maps, it adds: A custom icon for steam and a custom icon for in-game (the icon that appears in your taskbar) as well as a new font for the main menu and the icon dark-green-ish UI panels are now also in the mod. Overall that is it, I hope you guys enjoy this update as It took me quite a bit of work!
